Explore Montenegro through our tailor-made circuits, designed by Lidija and her team from Podgorica. Each itinerary is crafted to reveal the country's contrasts: the Bay of Kotor and its Venetian villages, the peaks of Durmitor and the Tara canyon, the Orthodox monasteries of Cetinje and the fishing villages of Lake Skadar. Whether you travel as a family, couple or friends, our circuits adapt to your pace. From an 8-day discovery circuit to a grand 15-day journey combining the Adriatic coast, high plateaus and neighboring Albania, find the itinerary that suits you and set off with peace of mind with an English-speaking local agency.

How to choose your circuit in Montenegro?
Montenegro is compact, which opens up varied regional combinations without exhausting transfers. An 8-day stay allows you to cover the Bay of Kotor, Cetinje and a foray into Durmitor. For a genuine immersion combining coast, northern mountains and Lake Skadar, we recommend a circuit of 8 to 12 days. Travelers wishing to combine it with Albania, Bosnia or Kosovo will opt for an itinerary of 13 to 17 days, taking advantage of the country's central position in the Western Balkans.
The different types of circuits
We design three main families of itineraries. Cultural circuits focus on Orthodox monasteries (Ostrog, Cetinje, Morača), old Venetian towns and traditional villages in the north. Adventure circuits combine hiking in Durmitor and Prokletije, rafting on the Tara, via ferrata and mountain biking. Family itineraries alternate beach days between Petrovac and Sveti Stefan, boat trips on Lake Skadar and accessible walks in national parks, with short stages suited to children.
What is the best season?
The main season runs from May to mid-October. May and June offer lush nature and mild temperatures, ideal for combining coast and hiking. July and August are warm (28 to 32 °C on the coast, 22 to 26 °C in the mountains) and busy on the coast. September is our favorite month: warm sea, clear trails, golden light. Winter is suited to skiing around Kolašin and Žabljak, but some mountain roads close. Early spring (April) remains rainy inland.
